About

I was awarded this prestigious international opportunity and lived in Ōtepoti (Dunedin), Aotearoa for 6 months in 2023. I was warmly welcomed by the University of Otago and wider local creative community.

The images above and my full Fellowship report below capture the range of research, workshops and other activities I undertook, along with my strong connection to the late Caroline Plummer and her family.

Acknowledgements

Anna Noonan (Dance Ōtepoti), Alison East, Alexa Peggie, Ben Nelson, Hahna Briggs, Hannah Matthews, Josten Myburgh, Leila East Giles, Liga Ubele, Marika Thomson, Miriam Marler and many others.

Partnerships with Dunedin North Intermediate, George Street Normal School and the Education faculty at University of Otago were invaluable for the youth and community engagement aspects of my Fellowship.
