FLOCK was a forum for independent artists of all disciplines and career stages to share practice and sector dialogue.
I curated and produced monthly events together with Alex Desebrock and Elizabeth Pedler from 2018-2020. We partnered with a large network of arts organisations (listed below).
FLOCK activated essential arts community and relationships, demonstrated best practice, employed numerous Boorloo (Perth) independent artists and provided advocacy and professional development opportunities. This culminated after three years with a closing event at Performing Lines WA's Kolyang Hub. It was a robust facilitated discussion exploring the benefits and challenges of artist run initiatives and promoting 'web-like-thinking' for our arts sector.
